Privacy policy

What data we process

Account data: your email address and the name you enter. Sign-in works with an email link; we store no password.

What you create: the texts, prompts, photos, videos and audio you upload or generate, and the results (videos, character sheets, voices). These live in our database and file storage.

Usage and credit: which renders you start, what they cost and your credit balance, including every credit and debit.

Technical data: IP address, browser type and timestamps in server logs, solely to run the service and fix problems.

What we use it for

To provide the service: generate, store and show your content.

To process payments and credits and make invoices available.

To email you about your account (sign-in links, payments). We send no newsletters without your consent.

To prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

Who else is involved (processors)

To generate images, video, text and voices we send your prompts and reference files to AI providers (including WaveSpeed, OpenAI and Anthropic). They process that data only to produce the result.

Payments run through Stripe. For purchases Stripe acts as merchant of record and receives your name, email address and payment details; we never see your card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Hosting and storage: Vercel (website), Supabase (database), Cloudflare R2 (files), Inngest (background jobs) and Resend (email). Data is stored in the European Union where possible.

How long we keep data

As long as your account exists. If you delete your account (Settings → Delete account) we delete your account, projects, content and credit history. Invoice data is kept as long as tax law requires (7 years).

Server logs are kept for at most 30 days.

Cookies

We only use functional cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in and a cookie for your language choice. There are no tracking or advertising cookies, so we do not ask for cookie consent.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and transfer your data, and to object to processing. You change your name yourself under Settings; you can also delete your account there. For other requests, email info@rollem.ai. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Your responsibility for uploads

Only upload photos, videos and voices of yourself or of people who have given permission. You remain responsible for the material you provide.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when that last happened. For important changes we will let you know by email or in the app.
